A very beautiful & guitar for performance, Zager ZAD50 OM is an orchestra model acoustic guitar. Let’s review this guitar by its appearance first.

ZAD50 OM is made out of wood; primarily the back and sides, neck and headstock are completely made out for pure mahogany to deliver great sound quality.  Sitka spruce top and laminated for a high glossy finish. Its 15% smaller than other OM model which is perfect for guitarists who have trouble holding down on full size guitars. Great professional set-up.

I recently purchased a guitar suggested by an old friend who cruises around the world. He plays the guitar and told me to purchase a Zager guitar if I have trouble playing. I’ve read some reviews and articles regarding Zager, and it seems that it’s a great guitar while other says it’s an over-rated guitar. I bought a Zager ZAD15.

My first impression, it’s a rather cheap guitar for what it offers. Customer support was great. They entertained my question quite professionally and are quick to answer when they’re online. They asked me certain specifics of what I might want for a guitar. They suggested the Zager ZAD15. 

It was delivered in just 2-3 weeks, and arrived safely in my doorstep. I opened and see that it’s well packaged to avoid any damages when being delivered. It came with a case so I’m very happy with it. 

I opened it and saw one a great guitar. Beautifully crafted and looks far expensive than the real price. A ¾ guitar with solid Sitka spruce for the top. Back and sides are made from mahogany. With beautiful inlay around the sound hole, this guitar just beat everything that is beautiful compare with its price. Great deep full rich sound. Clean and crisp. 

NO buzzing or ringing. Great guitar sound quality for its size. I can play acoustic songs and other genre just as good.

I love this guitar the sound is just the best and it looks amazing. The perfect guitar for travelling.

I just wanted to let you know the guitar came in a few minutes ago, it arrived in perfect shape and looks absolutely beautiful, the sound is rich and extremely vibrant, seems deeper than my ZAD80. Zager sure build an amazing piece of art, I will treasure this as my other Zager!

Before to buy I was discussing with my friend about new guitar. With my older one it was very painful to play because it is very hard to play. I had a friend come over last night & we had a picking session. He played my Zager & was really impressed with it. I don't mind letting good friends that play that I trust play my guitar & get their opinions. I love this guitar because it is very easy to play and awesome sound quality.

When my zager reached my home I was very excited and open immediately when I saw this. Denny give me beautiful case with this guitar. How did you hear about this brand?

I discovered it while browsing guitars on eBay. I had never heard of the brand and went to your site to check it out.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?

My Zager is simply a pleasure to play compared to my other two acoustic guitars (a steel-string and a classical - both in the $750-1,000 price range). I am a hobbyist guitarist and my Zager has gotten me back to playing more regularly. The action on my other steel-string is so high in comparison to the Zager guitar. I can see why I was getting so frustrated with learning new chords on that one.

What's your favorite part about this guitar?

The low action and easy playability. My fingers aren't as sore as they used to get on my other guitars. And the tone is just sublime. In fact, the more gently you strum with the pick, the sweeter the sound.

If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?

$1,500-$2,000

How would you rate customer support?

Excellent! You are very responsive to emails and your how-to videos are very helpful.

Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?

Absolutely! Particularly to a beginner so they have a positive first experience with guitar. It may cost more than those mass-produced starter guitar packs that fly off the shelves, but it is so worth the investment. Zagers are beautiful instruments and obviously made with care and great attention to detail. Great bang for the buck is an understatement!

Low action with no buzz - easy to play. Professionally set up. No flaws at all - ready to play when I received it with no alterations.

I can definitely play it lived. Seems durable - all hardware looks nice - has Grover tuning keys. Could use it playing live without worrying about having a backup. Stays in tune excellent. This is the 2nd one of these guitars I have purchased because I liked the first one so well. The first guitar was a black lacquer finish and I wanted a sunburst as well. They are both excellent.

Have 2 Zager guitars and haven't been playing for long. Would definitely buy another one if something happened to the ones I have. I did compare it to other guitars and found the Zager had a much clearer, more resonating sound and very low action for ease of playing.
